The INSAR Board made a significant commitment to enhance the representation of neurosciences and related biomedical disciplines at the Annual INSAR meeting since in recent years these have been under-represented. The aim is that the biological and social sciences will be equally represented and scientific excellence would continue to be the main criterion for selection.
To address this aspiration, they have added additional panels, oral presentations, and keynote speakers, and will actively solicit and encourage keynotes, panels and oral presentations in these areas.
Genetics, genomics, other big data analytics, functional studies in preclinical models, neuroscience, and clinical trials, are all expected to be a significant focus going forward. These will complement areas such as cognitive science, epidemiology, developmental psychology, education and policy-relevant research.
The deadline for abstract submissions has been extended until December 5, 2018.
The detailed Abstract Submission Guidelines for INSAR 2019 are available online. Please review the guidelines and the expanded list of Abstract Submission Categories.
