The NJACE is thrilled to award the first NJACE Faculty Scholarship for Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Course Development, sponsored by the NJ Governor’s Council for Medical Research and Treatment of Autism. The Scholarship goes to Dr. Sallie Porter, Rutgers School of Nursing, to develop multiple modules for undergraduate and graduate level course content to develop and expand skills related to care for people with ASD across the lifespan.
NJACE Faculty Scholarship for Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Course Development is a 1-year funding opportunity designed to address a key goal of the NJACE to promote professional training aimed to improve the lives of individuals with ASD across the lifespan. The next Faculty Scholarship award request for proposals is expected to be posted in April, 2019 for implementation in Fall 2019.
