The New Jersey Autism Center of Excellence (NJACE) is pleased to offer the second NJACE Faculty Scholarship, sponsored by the NJ Governor’s Council for Medical Research and Treatment of Autism. The scholarship is a 1-year funding opportunity for faculty to enhance or develop course or curricular materials that address autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The goal of these courses/curricula is to expand the pool of health/allied health professional students trained to provide effective diagnostic, therapeutic, consultative or supportive service to people with ASD.
Funding in the amount of up to $10,000 is available for one academic year. This opportunity is open to faculty from relevant clinical disciplines including, but not limited to medicine, nursing, clinical genetics, nutrition, social work, psychology, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, etc. One scholarship is available per academic year. Faculty from all 4-year undergraduate, graduate, or professional programs (residency, fellowships) of higher education in New Jersey are invited to apply (see attached application).
