• System of New Jersey System for Administering Grants Electronically (SAGE)

SAGE is the grant management system in the state of NJ. If you have access to utilize this system, please use your username and password to login. If you do not have access and require it, please visit the link provided to register:

To assist SAGE users, the Grants Unit has prepared a set of FAQ documents for grant applicants and grantees that provide step-by-step guidance to address their most frequently asked questions about account administration and system navigation. Both documents can now be found below OR under the “Training Materials” link in SAGE, and used as a resource when working with applicants and grantees.

Technical support can still be requested from the SAGE Help Desk. However, please note that the Help Desk phone number has changed. Help Desk requests should now be directed to 609-376-8508 or njdoh.grants@doh.nj.gov.

    Upcoming Deadlines:

Reporting structures for all grantees have changed. Progress reports are now due on January 15 of every year you are funded. It is important to submit reports by this date to be considered by the council for funding of the future year. Final Reports are due in SAGE within 60 days after the close of the grant. All reports are to be submitted as an attachment in SAGE. Please download and review the documents above to learn how to complete the submissions appropriately.

While the NJACE team is here to assist with SAGE technical issues and progress report reminders, all reports will be processed through the Governor’s Council office and sent to members of an external review panel for evaluation and feedback. Thus, please do not send any reports directly to the NJACE team and instead, upload only onto SAGE. Feel free to email us regarding any questions or concerns. Thank you!
