The NJACE was happy to participate and exhibit in Hackensack Meridian Health, K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital, Jersey Shore University Medical Center’s Autism in Love event, an evening event for teens with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The event was held at the HOPE Tower’s John K. Lloyd Amphitheatre and brought in community members including youth on the spectrum, staff members, organizations serving individuals on the spectrum, among others. Speakers Lindsey Nebeker and David Hamrick spoke about their journey and shared their story from the documentary Autism in Love. Thank you to Jersey Shore Medical Home for organizing this amazing event and spreading awareness about this beautiful population through creative means. What a great event!
