On June 15, 2019, Dr. Jill Harris, Clinical Liaison for NJACE, led a discussion for the NJ Association of Black Psychologists on “Understanding ASD”. The meeting was held on the Rutgers campus in Piscataway. Topics included racial disparities in diagnosis and access to services, common mental health co-morbidities, ways to adapt treatment, and neurodiversity.
