Research Assistant Job Opportunity at ASD LifeSPAN Lab

Rutgers University is seeking a self-motivated, energetic and highly organized individual to provide administrative lab support and assist in day-to-day study activities of Dr. Vanessa Bal’s ASD LifeSPAN Lab.

Primary responsibilities of this position include:

Preparation of IRB applications, renewals and amendments.
Recruitment, screening, scheduling, and maintaining ongoing contact with participants for research projects.
Using e-prime to create experimental tasks for lab-based physiology studies.
Managing consenting of research participants and assisting in data collection.
Overseeing data management (including data entry and curation, basic analysis).
Training students to support daily administrative research tasks.
Supporting scientific publication and grant submission (e.g., conduct literature review, input references, formatting tables and figures).

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Neuroscience or a related field. Preferred experience working with individuals with ASD. See posting for other qualifications.
